Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. office will be closed to the public until further notice starting December 29, 2020

Posted on Wednesday December 23, 2020

Starting December 29, 2020, Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. (Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro) will close its office to the public until further notice in response to the province wide shutdown. This closure is in addition to our previously-scheduled holiday closures, which are listed below.

The closure will help Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro keep its workers and the community safe so that we can continue to deliver safe, reliable electricity. Powerline crews and technicians continue to respond to our customers’ electricity needs and any power outages, and office staff continue to support customers online and on the telephone.

Self-serve customer care options can be found on our website.

Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro is working closely with the municipalities and other local distribution companies and follows the direction of Region of Waterloo Public Health to protect the health and safety of our employees and the communities we serve.

Please help us keep our team safe - do not approach staff that are out working in the community.  Practice physical distancing and keep a minimum of two meters away.
