The tree canopies in the City of Kitchener and the Township of Wilmot just got a little greener, thanks to reforestation grants from Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro.
Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro provides annual reforestation grants to support local municipalities as they work to enhance their urban forests and to compensate for the impact of utility tree trimming done throughout the year to maintain a safe, reliable power supply.
