Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro's Scorecard

Developed by the Ontario Energy BoardKitchener-Wilmot Hydro's Scorecard measures how well we are performing each year.  

The Scorecard is designed to encourage all electricity distributors in Ontario to operate effectively, continually seek ways to improve productivity, and focus on improvements that our customers value. All electricity distributors report their Scorecard performance results annually, and make the results available to the public.

The Scorecard includes traditional metrics for assessing Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro's services, such as frequency of power outages, financial performance, and costs per customer. 

In 2016, we are proud to have met and exceeded industry targets for all Scorecard measures. Of note, in 2016, Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro:

  • Had the sixth lowest total cost per customer in the province;
  • Earned exceptional ratings in customer satisfaction, including achieving an "A" in overall customer satisfaction;
